About PIFA

Who We Are

Parent Infant Family Australia (PIFA) is an independent, not for profit organisation working in association with Catholic Community Services (CatholicCare).

PIFA was established in 1998 to enhance the lives of children by supporting vulnerable families during pregnancy and in their children’s early years. This is accomplished via direct clinical work and support and training of others who work with distressed families.

PIFA employs a group of highly trained and respected professionals who have decades of experience in early intervention in problematic parent child relationships. All our workers have post graduate qualifications in areas such as psychotherapy, infant mental health and art therapy.
