Our Projects

Established in 1998, PIFA retains 15 highly qualified and experienced parent/infant professionals, (all of whom have at least one post graduate qualification), to offer parenting support to the most vulnerable families in Sydney.

PIFA's work is based on the understanding that the quality of the relationship between babies and their early carers forms a foundation for later life.

With the new family as focus, PIFA supports these earliest relationships by:

  • providing professional clinical services to vulnerable families with infants and young children;
  • providing training and support to professionals working with distressed families
